About
Maurice Bouchard grew up in Watkinsville, Georgia, surrounded by family, music, and imagination. From playing clarinet in school—earning All-State honors in middle school—to painting miniatures and reading manga, Maurice’s early years were filled with creativity and curiosity. He graduated from Oconee County High School in 2008, later earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in 2012, where he was named a Charter Scholar for his academic excellence. Maurice’s professional background spans healthcare and community care. He has served in various patient-focused roles across Georgia, including positions at Avery Place Memory Care, Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital, and St. Mary’s Health Care System, where he developed a reputation for empathy and reliability. After earning his CNA certification in 2017, he transitioned toward a more family-centered life, dedicating himself to parenting and creative expression. As an artist, Maurice works primarily with watercolor and 3D printing, often drawing from his love of science fiction, faith, and storytelling. His hobbies—ranging from Warhammer 40K and comic art to guitar and worship music—serve as both inspiration and reflection of his multifaceted interests. Whether through painting, music, or his faith community, Maurice continues to seek ways to express gratitude, creativity, and love in everything he does.
